Andy Camper Launches

This is great news – Andycamper.com launched today.  The site is the brainchild of Andrew Milne and Jud Rasmussen who also run local design firm BV02.  Andrew and Jud have been working on this project for a few years now so its great to see it launch.

Andy Camper provides a fun, engaging, safe and educational community driven web portal designed to get kids active and outside.  The coolest thing is that all content and activities can be printed out or downloaded to a cell phone or iPod for easy portability and use outside.  

When you check out the site you will notice that the amount of content is outrageous.  There are tons of interesting videos, images and activities. Derek Smith is the host of most video and he does an excellent job as Andy Camper’s public face.  Here is  one of my favorite videos where Derek interviews a frog:
