OCRI / Exploriem Awards

I think this is a great idea…

Local startup incubator Exploriem.org has partnered with OCRI for an annual award program focused on Ottawa entrepreneurs and startups.  The Exploriem Bootstrap Awards focus on recognizing the businesses that start small and grow smart, characterizing the entrepreneurial spirit.  

They’ve now opened the call for nominations in the following 10 categories:

  1. Best New Micro Business of the Year
  2. Fastest Growing 20 and under Bootstrap Startup of the Year
  3. Best New Web Site of the Year
  4. Best New Technique for Sales, Pre-Sales or Launch Clients
  5. Best Value Differentiation Technique of the Year
  6. Best ‘Pixie Dust’ Technique of the Year
  7. Most Innovative Source of Bootstrap Capital of the Year
  8. Best Guerrilla Marketing Idea or Campaign of the Year
  9. Most Innovative New Bootstrap Business Model of the Year
  10. Fastest Growing Bootstrap Startup

If you know a business that deserves an award in any of these categories, fill out the form on the OCRI website (http://www.ocri.com/exploriem), or download the PDF and send it in to be considered.

The award ceremony is Friday, February 12, and the deadline for nominations is January 22.
